Stress Management
Stress has become a major part of modern life. In certain situations, it is part of our survival response – such as flight or fight. But it can gradually build up over the longer term to dangerous levels that affect your health and relationships.

In this workshop we look at how to quantify your stress levels, and explore the unique and highly effective ways that complementary therapies can help to manage stress.

You will learn how to use:
  • Oriental methods such as acupressure points and Chi Qong exercises.
  • The power of mind using self-hypnosis and visualisation.
  • Breathing techniques.


  • After this course you should have achieved the following learning outcomes:
  • You will be able to identify your stress levels and acknowledge your stress.
  • Mind, energy and body exercises to help manage personal stress.
  • Exercises to give patients to help them deal with stress.
